How our SSL/TLS assessment is performed

Our service will verify the presence of certificates and will check if none of the following issues are present:

  • Support of the application for insecure encryption protocols
  • Weak ciphers
  • Broken chains of trust
  • Mismatches between the host for which the certificate is used, and the hostname(s) for which the certificate is issued
  • Expired certificates
  • Presence of vulnerabilities

Our service lists all SSL certificates found during the last scan, with more technical details about each certificate, highlighting important findings. You can download the results as JSON files to send them to the corresponding person if an action is needed.
